MEET SWITCH ENERGY FITNESS FIT FAM MEMBER TOMEIKA!

When did you join SWITCH ENERGY FITNESS?
I joined SEF back in 2020.

 Why did you choose SWITCH ENERGY FITNESS?

I chose SEF first as a trial thing. It first started off as a work thing to build connections and to get in my own personal experience after meeting Nikki(owner of SEF).It wasn’t until after a few classes that I realized I developed a “habit” that I thoroughly enjoyed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What results have you had since joining?

( This could be physical changes, changes in fitness abilities, mindset, changes in habits etc. ) Initially my goal was to lose some weight and remove a regimen of prescriptions that I was taking daily but the more I attended I noticed other changes. These changes included endurance, I could walk without wheezing or having to take a break within 5 minutes. I started to turn the negative thoughts into positive thoughts, I became hungrier” to get in the gym or involve myself in some sort of physical activity. I began to build relationships with the other members and no longer consider it a class or task but more of a sisterhood and recognized that we had to show up for each other. The numbers going down on the scale as well as the measuring tape started to become secondary and just added bonuses to the spiritual and mental transitions I was going through since joining.



What has been the accomplishment you are most proud of since joining?

 Having my children join in and provide challenges and feedback. Also being able to hike up mountains. Never did I think I’d do that!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 


What keeps you motivated?
Nikki and Fam keep me motivated and pushing myself to the point of failure not tiredness! Thank you Team! 

What advice would you give someone who is starting or in the middle of their fitness/weightloss journey?
2 words only KEEP PUSHING!! It won’t happen overnight, there’s going to high points and low points with some blood, sweat, and tears in between but you have to KEEP PUSHING!
