3 Tips to Prepare For Your Next Vacation

Remember sexy is a mindset not a size. You can love yourself wherever you are in your health and fitness journey AND still want to get extra sexy for the your next vacation, baecation or girls trip! Here are 3 tips to help you get ready for your next vacation.


1) Start a soon as you book your vacation. Starving yourself or doing excessive cardio a few weeks before the trip not only doesn’t work but often doesn’t get you to the goals you want. Give yourself time to tone your body. That way you can preserve sexy curvy muscle and lose fat over time.


2) Start with the fundamentals. Drink your water. 1 gallon a day will keep full and hydrated. Get your sleep ( 7 to 8 hours a days is the goal) to keep cortisol levels down and cravings under control. Meal prep and eat balanced meals full of healthy sources of protein, fat and carbs. Eliminating one food group from your diet is hard to maintain and will lead to you gaining the weight back once you include that food group again.


3) Move, move, move! Choose a workout you like to do or try something new. Include moderate intensity cardio 4 to 5 days a week and resistance training, hitting all major muscle groups 3 to 4, days a week. Don’t sleep on walking. It works too! Up the cardio time from 30 minutes to 45 minutes to burn bonus calories.
